This series of bags is a super special collaboration project between me and my Grandma (a.k.a. Gram). Here’s how the story goes ::

Gram obtained scrap canvas from a local garage sale on Staten Island, NY. This canvas, as we soon discovered, were factory scraps. So, we got our hands on a whole bunch. She thought it would be nice to make totes of of it. I agreed. So I gathered vintage fabrics obtained from thrift stores and rummage sales all over the state of Vermont for the interior. The bags were constructed on Staten Island by Gram and sent along to me in Vermont to get the prints. It doesn’t get much more eco friendly than that, my friends!

This bag has a pale blue exterior canvas and yellow floral vintage bed linens as an interior. Lovely. Every bag in this series has hand screened prints ‘Fern Love’ on the front and ‘Photosynthesis’ on the back.

It doesn’t get more eco friendly than that!
